But if we had to pick one person to break bread with on March 31, it might be John Scher. He began promoting concerts at age 19, and in the decades since he has worked with everyone who his anyone in the entertainment world.

We had the pleasure of chatting with John, to get a taste of what the Arts Council of the Morris Area will be serving at Great Conversations.

In part one of our four-part interview, John recounts how he brought The Rolling Stones and The Who to the late, great Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ– and why he turned down a chance to manage Bruce Springsteen.
