She spends her time organizing events for everyone else, as a program director for the Arts Council of the Morris Area.

So we caught up with Kadie Dempsey on Tuesday at one of those events–an artists’ networking soiree at the Hyatt Morristown–and asked what she has coming down the pike.

Turns out Kadie, an accomplished photographer, will be a panelist at a March 27 movie screening at the Bickford Theatre in Morris Township to celebrate Women’s History Month.

Directed by Oscar-winning producer Pamela Tanner Boll, Who Does She Think She Is? is billed as a documentary about “five women whose stories will outrage and ultimately inspire you to do the things that bring you joy.”

The program runs from 4 to 7 pm and includes a panel discussion, art exhibit and artisan chocolate launch. Panelists include performer Jill Maglio and visual artist Christine Wagner. Mixed media artist Renee Folzenlogen will moderate the talk.

Tickets are $18 to $54 and proceeds benefit the Wellness, Arts & Enrichment Center of the Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled of Metrowest Inc. The center promotes artist expression by people with disabilities.
