A winter storm watch is in effect from this morning, Jan. 26, until late this evening. Snow with some sleet or rain is likely to arrive during morning, according to the National Weather Service.
But the heaviest snow is expected between 5 pm and midnight. Six to 10 inches of snow are possible, and it may come down at a rate of one- to two-inches per hour during the evening, according to the forecast.
If this is getting to sound familiar, it is. At this rate, the Geico gecko may have to pinch-hit for Punxsutawney Phil next week…we suspect the groundhog may not be able to dig out.
