Music At Noon, the concert series sponsored by Music At Morristown United Methodist Church, continues it’s 31st season with a concert on Thursday, January 20, 2011 featuring Crispian Fordham, Flute and Jack Bender, Piano. The 30-minute concert begins at 12:15 pm. The concert will be held in the sanctuary of the Morristown United Methodist Church, 50 Park Place (on the Green), Morristown, NJ 07960. There is a light luncheon available for purchase before or after the concert (11:30 to 1:30 pm). The cost of the luncheon is $7.00 for adults and $6.00 for seniors and students. The January concerts have a suggested donation of $6.00/$5.00 for seniors & students. Student groups with teachers are admitted free. Free childcare is available during the concert. The sanctuary is handicapped accessible.
Crispian Fordham, Flute, has a BA (Mannes College of Music) and a Masters Degree (Mannes College of Music) in Music Performance on flute. He has studied with Keith Underwood (top instructor and lecturer across the world) and Nadine Asin (former piccolo & flute of the Metropolitan Opera). Mr. Fordham has performed with the Park Avenue Chamber Players, London Festival Players and many more. Mr. Fordham has performed many solo and chamber music performances in concert halls such as: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Steinway Hall and the United Nations. Also Crispian attended the Aspen Music Festival as a full Scholarship fellow. In 2001 Mr. Fordham won the award of excellence in Performance from the Mannes College of Music.
