Grab your umbrellas, Morristown: It’s time for Art Around the Park

0

Morristown kicks off its first gallery walk, Art Around the Park, at 5:30 tonight, Nov. 16, with the dedication of a Riccardo Berlingeri sculpture, Ode to a Dear Old Friend, in the lobby of the Gallery at 14 Maple. The sculpture pays homage to newspapers… remember them?

While you’re there, check out the Whimsy exhibition on the third floor, home of the Arts Council of the Morris Area.

Then, saunter over to the Simon Gallery on Bank Street, Gallery Egan on Community Place, and the Qube Lounge at the Hyatt Morristown to check out their exhibitions.

The galleries will be open until 8 pm, with artists on hand to discuss their work, and the Qube Lounge is open for as long as you want to carry on the artistic discussion. (Harry Simon curates a gallery at the Hyatt.)

Discover Morristown’s burgeoning art scene…all within a short walk from the Morristown Green.
