Morristown’s Got Talent! is returning for a fourth year, at the Community Theatre on Feb. 23.

Which means you had better dust off your tap dancing shoes, kazoo, electric guitar or whatever other talents you have been hiding from the world. Pre-registration is December 1 and auditions are Dec. 18 at Morristown High School.

The contest is open to amateur performers who live, work or attend school in Morristown, Morris Township or Morris Plains.

First prize is $1,000. Second place is worth $500 and third pays $250. Violinist Chris Pyo, beat-boxer Aaron Velasquez and the ensemble Timeless Jazz are past winners.

The show raises money for the Morris Educational Foundation, which supports innovative programs in the Morris School District. Last year’s production raised nearly $30,000.

“We are anticipating selling out the theater once again this year!” Vince Morreale, co-chair of Morristown’s Got Talent, said in a statement.

Registration details are at MorristownsGotTalent.com, or at 973-683-0767.
