The Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center, known for providing meals and services to the poor, will be hosting a job fair on Wednesday, from 1:30-3:30 pm at 36 South Street.
Participating employers are Atlantic Health System, UPS, Tiffany & Company, Loving Care Agency Inc., Barnes & Noble and Select Staffing, an employment agency.
Representatives from County College of Morris and the Morris County School of Technology will be on hand to provide information about credit and non-credit courses, as well as business and professional training classes. Volunteers from Travelers, who conducted Job Preparedness Workshops a few weeks ago, also will be here to help with interview skills.
The job fair is free and is a great way to network with local companies, employment agencies and educational institutions. Attendees are encouraged to dress in interview attire, bring resumes and be ready with their 30-second commercial.
