Randolph High put on a show last night for more than 30 alumni from its unbeaten teams of 1986-91, edging the Morristown Colonials 6-0 on a sloppy field in Randolph.
It was the Rams’ first victory over Morristown since 2003. Now 3-1, Randolph has not allowed a touchdown for 10 quarters. The Colonials (2-2) did not penetrate beyond the Rams’ 34-yard line in the second half, reports The Star-Ledger:
Morristown didn’t help itself by committing 12 penalties, including two personal fouls and two pass interference calls, one of which was on offense.
The Colonials also had four second-half turnovers. Randolph’s Mike Mastrangelo scored the game’s only touchdown early in the contest.
