Weekend football: Morristown 21, Parsippany Hills 14

footballThe Morristown High School football varsity upped its record to 2-1 with a 21-14 victory over Parsippany Hills (0-3) on a sun-drenched, summery Saturday.

Kevin Gaskins and Shawn Bell had big games again for the Colonials:  Kevin ran for a pair of touchdowns, and Shawn picked off a pair of passes, one of them for a TD.

The Vikings led 7-0 in the third quarter, but Morristown answered with the next three scores en route to the home victory. Next up for the Colonials: A road game at Randolph (2-1) on Friday. The Rams beat Morris Knolls 24-3 on Saturday.
