Catch the movie “The Italian Job” starting shortly after dusk on Thursday, on the Green. It is part of Moonlight Movies in Morristown, a free weekly series sponsored by the Morristown Partnership.
It takes place in Venice, Italy, and is about a gang of thieves starring Mark Wahlberg as Charlie Croker and Edward Norton as Steve.
The thieves pull off a gold bullion heist… and there’s a double-crosser…and some safe-cracking by Stella Bridger, played by Charlize Theron…and a plan to create the largest traffic jam in L.A.
The movie is rated PG and is a remake of the original British film ‘The Italian Job’ in 1969. A sequel, “The Brazilian Job,” reportedly is in development.
The remaining movie, “Akeelah and the Bee” (PG) is scheduled for Thursday, August 26th. There are no rain dates.
