I don’t know a Half Moon from a Happy Baby.

All I can say for sure is that all those contortions on the grass felt pretty good this morning!

It turns out that The Urban Farm, Morristown’s grand experiment in communal farming, is about more than just feeding one’s body. Health is truly organic, according to this program.

“We do stretches, for stress relief. Yoga strengthens and tones the whole body, and brings body and mind together through controlled breathing and movement,” Jeannette explained. “The more you do it, the more meditative it becomes.”

The holistic gene runs in the family. Jeannette’s sister, Carolle Huber, is a founder of the Urban Farm at Lafayette, and the Community Garden on Early Street.

The free yoga sessions are at 7:30 a.m. on Thursdays in August. Bring a towel or yoga matt and water, and dress comfortably. Beginners are welcome; rain cancels. Jeannette, a registered teacher with the Yoga Alliance, also runs an open level course on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm at the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Florham Park.

And if the thought of all that posing makes you hungry for some healthy eats,  the Urban Farm at Lafayette will be selling home-grown produce on Saturday, from 9 am to noon.
