Enjoy an evening of summer concert fun as RB Express performs at Ginty Field Gazebo on Tuesday at 7 pm as part of Morris Township’s Free Summer Concert Series.
These New Jersey-based singers will entertain you with songs from the Doo-Wop era of the ’50s and classic harmonies of the ’60s. They cover oldies from the Duprees, Tokens, Drifters, Moonglows, Platters and Diamonds, adding their own twist to the melodies to make these songs their own.
RB Express was formed in March 2005 by a group of solo artists passionate about ’50s and ’60s tunes. They have played at Jenkinson’s on the Point Pleasant boardwalk, SeaGulls Nest at Sandy Hook and other hot spots on the Jersey shore.
In 2006 RB Express temporarily left the Garden State for Hawaii, and just recently returned from its second tour, having taken the island of Kauai by storm.
Bring blankets or lawn chairs and sit back for a lovely summer evening with these sweet-sounding crooners.
