We’ve seen a lot of shows at Morristown’s Community Theatre over the years. But few crowds have been as enthusiastic as Wednesday’s full house for the Moody Blues.
From the first notes of “The Voice,” fans were on their feet, and that’s where many of them stayed for two sets spanning more than two hours.
Justin Hayward, John Lodge and Graeme Edge still look like they’re having fun, more than four decades after the band hit the charts with the British invasion.
“We survived the 60s…twice!” cracked Graeme, who turned 69 in March.
I’ve seen them 3 times here in Orlando, Fl and they always been great. The audiences always asked for encores and stays on their feet the whole show.
Can’t wait until they come again here. Glad they still enjoy playing.
Morristown was our first live glimpse at the Moody Blues. Thoroughly enjoyed the show and loved all the harmonies, esp. the ones during Are you Sitting Comfortably. It takes your breath away. Thanks for everything. It was a night we’ll never forget.
This was my first chance to catch the Moodies live, and it was fun watching John Lodge play bass. A lot of bass players stand rooted to the stage like trees; John never stands still. Very entertaining.
I was at Bethel Woods on the 10th and live on Staten Island . It was the longest ovation after ” Nights ” I had ever seen . We have a wonderful venue on Staten Island called the St. George Theatre and I wish the Moodies could do a show there the next go round . They have been nothing short of fantastic.
