Call it a coming out party. Morristown’s Community Theatre is coming outside Tuesday to celebrate the kickoff of ticket sales for the coming season.
The fun starts in front of the theater at 11:30 a.m. with the star of a Kids Club event. (We won’t spoil the surprise!) Balloon artist Ferris the Great also will be on hand to dazzle and delight. And the theatre will be open for tours.
At 12:15, Boys Night Out, a Morristown kids band with a grownup sound, will show off the talent that has made it a favorite at Morristown’s Got Talent and Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater.
Stop back at 6 p.m. for Los Ciegos Del Barrio (The Blind Boys of the Barrio), the third installment in the theater’s Music Without Borders summer series. Enjoy the band’s sizzling tunes with cool ice cream… it’s free!
