Morristown’s Burnham Park pool opens on Saturday

Finally, it may be time to put away those winter blankets. Morristown’s Burnham Park pool opens for business at noon on Saturday. Summer truly is upon us.

The pool is open from noon to 8 pm Saturday, noon to 6 pm on Sunday, and from 3 pm to 8 pm on Monday.  The full daily schedule kicks in on Tuesday at noon.  The swim season runs through Labor Day.

Season fees for residents/families range from $38 to $224; for nonresidents, the span is $50 to $334.

Registrations can be renewed by mail, or in person at town hall. New registrations must be done at town hall, which is open from 9 am to 4 pm on weekedays with an hour break at noon.  Two special registration sessions have been added:

Saturday from noon to 4 pm

Thursday June 24 from 5 pm to 7 pm

Morris Township, meanwhile, opened its Ginty and Streeter pools for the last two weekends.

Saturday hours are 11 AM to 8 PM; Sundays, pools are open from noon to 8 PM.

On weekdays through June 21, hours are 3 pm to 8 pm; from June 22 through Labor Day, gates open at noon. Season fees range from $100 to $340. Registration details are at https://www.morristwp.com/dept_recreation_notice.asp or at 973-326-7370.
