It’s that time of year again: Beaches, baseball, picnics… and movies under the stars! Our third annual MorristownGreen.com Film Festival is coming in August, and promises to be more fun than ever.
Submit your video by AUGUST 1, for a shot at great prizes that will be awarded by popular vote on the night of the show. This year’s theme will help promote the local music scene–you simply must use some original music that we are providing from area performers. The quality is terrific and covers a broad range of styles. (More below.)
Film-makers and wannabe film-makers of all ages and abilities are welcome to submit videos; preference will be given to people who live, work or play around Greater Morristown, or who used to do so.
The rules are simple:
1. Videos should not exceed five minutes in length (exception below)
2. They must be suitable for viewing by a general audience (keep ’em clean!)
3. We are posting original songs by local artists who have performed at MG events. You must use at least part of one of these songs in your video, and include the artist(s) in your video credits. You are free to use pieces of a song or songs as background-, theme-, soundtrack- or credits music, or you can use an entire song as a music video. It’s up to you. You may exceed the five-minute video length if you are making a music video and the song exceeds five minutes.
