That drizzly day in April marked the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, and kicked off a month-long series of events promoted by our affiliate, Sustainable Morristown. There were tours of the greenest building in town (14 Maple Ave.), “Green Drinks” at the Hyatt Morristown, a half-marathon, an AIDS walk, a gardening class…and much more. We even chimed in with talks on climate change and lunar exploration.
All these events culminate tomorrow with live music and green-themed vendors on the Green from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Hope to see you there!
