Post offices in Morristown, Morris Township get a reprieve
By Berit A. Ollestad Post offices facing closure in downtown Morristown and at Convent Station in Morris Township are not heading to the dead letter office. Not for now, anyway. Instead, the agency opted to shave costs by reducing hours at 13,000 post offices... [Read More...]

It needs food, water, air and love,” landscaper Tim Hughes told a gaggle of 9- and 10-year-olds outside the Morristown Neighborhood House on Friday. They were admiring a freshly planted willow oak, donated along with a young crab apple tree by the Garden Club of Morristown. Please click icon below for captions The club... [Read More...]

Chazz Palminteri is all the rage at Morristown screening
How do you portray the seething, bi-polar head of a household, when your own family memories are loving and happy? In Mighty Fine, a new film screened Wednesday in Morristown, Chazz Palminteri relies on instinct, homework . . . and maybe a little personal history, too. There was that killing he witnessed as a boy in the Bronx, the one involving a parking space. And some rather nasty fellows appeared in his semi-autobiographical 1993 movie, A Bronx... [Read More...]
