Here is video of the winning acts from the 10th anniversary Morristown Onstage competition.

The popular favorites, as determined by text votes, were Treble Threats. Morristown High School juniors Victoria Fanning, Nile Birch and Anna Skelton will share $500 for their cover of John Lennon’s Imagine.

Julianna Belles, 17, takes home $1,000 as winner of the 18-and-under group, for her interpretation of On My Own from Les Misérables.

And the tandem of Jay Phatak and Myles Birch will split $1,000 for topping the adult division with their cover of Johnny Cash’s Folsom Prison Blues.

Fifteen amateur acts, chosen from nearly 70 that auditioned, competed on Wednesday at the Mayo Performing Arts Center. Proceeds from the show benefit programs in the Morris School District. 

The talent judges were famed pedal steel guitar player Robert Randolph (formerly of Morristown), and MHS alumni Aaron Velasquez (’10), Mike Ryan (01), Josh Gannet (’99) and Ben Sesar (’88).  All work in the music industry.
