Video: ‘Happy Again’ by The Kennedys at The Minstrel
By Kevin Coughlin
The year 2016 rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. A divisive presidential campaign. Massacres. “News” that was fake. Obituaries that were real.
But The Kennedys ended things as they always do–on a hopeful, upbeat note.
Pete and Maura Kennedy concluded The Minstrel’s concert season last Friday with a show that sent people home from the Morris Township venue feeling better than when they had entered.
Here’s one of the reasons: Happy Again, which promises a better 2017.
We second that emotion. To all of MorristownGreen.com’s readers, contributors and advertisers, we wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year. Peace.
Note: Prices for Minstrel concerts are increasing to $10 — still the best bargain in show biz–and start times are moving to 7:30 pm. Next up: Reeds, Rhythm, And All That Brass, with Bill Brandon, on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017. It’s the makeup of a show canceled last July by a power outage. At the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Road, Morris Township.
