Is your holiday spirit sputtering?  We HIGHLY recommend A Child’s Christmas in Wales, a musical adaptation of Dylan Thomas’ nostalgic Yuletide tale.

It’s playing down the road at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. The cast is uniformly excellent, though if pressed, we would single out Greg Jackson who deftly plays the author as boy and grownup, and Alycia Kunkle, who is ferociously funny as Dylan’s tomboy cousin, Glenda.

Chances are, someone onstage will evoke your ghosts of Christmas past–with heart and humor. Festive songs are sung with gusto in between holiday calamities. A tonic for troubled times.  See below for schedules.
