THURSDAY, DEC. 8, 2016:

The Gingerbread Wonderland & Craft Show enters the homestretch, from 10 am to 4:30 pm; and continues through Sunday.  Scrumptious gingerbread houses can be viewed at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum.  Handmade crafts for sale on weekends; refreshments at Matilda’s Café.  Admission: $2; children under 2, free. Music at Noon is back at the Morristown United Methodist Church, with a free 12:15 pm concert by organist Christopher JenningsLunch may be purchased ($8/ $7 seniors) between 11:30 am and 12:10 pm. At 50 S. Park Place.

The Post-Downton Abbey Support Group convenes at 7 pm in the Morristown & Township Library for a preview of the upcoming PBS series Victoria, about the queen who was so powerful she got her own Kinks song. Free. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey presents Dylan Thomas’s A Child’s Christmas in Wales at 8 pm.  Tickets: $32-$75. At Drew University, 36 Madison Ave., Madison.

The  Harmonium Choral Society  presents Winter Skies  at 8 pm in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown. Morris County winter farmers market 2016 flyer

The Morris County Winter Farmers Market runs from at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Morristown’s Alexander Hamilton School, where it will be every Sunday (except Christmas and New Year’s Day) through April 9, 2017,  It’s a joint effort of the Foodshed Alliance Farmers’ Access Network, Grow it Green Morristown and the school, at 24 Mills St.
