Phil Abramson, Morristown’s town planner, said he received requests to do so because of the original date’s proximity to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The location of Monday’s meeting has not been finalized.

At the meeting, officials plan to discuss revisions to plans by Hampshire Realty, which initially sought permission to erect a five-story structure on land zoned for three stories.

Residents expressed their displeasure in July. The developer has knocked one story off its proposal, Abramson said.

The 100,000-square-foot self-storage facility is proposed for the former site of Milelli’s Auto Service and Towing and an oil distribution operation. A 2,600-square-foot art studio, to be run by the nonprofit Morris Arts, was included in the plans.
