THURSDAY, NOV. 10, 2016

The Morris County Freeholders will present medals to 14 veterans who live in the Morris View Healthcare Center. The ceremony starts at 2 pm, at 540 W. Hanover Ave. in Morris Township.  A special medal also will be presented to the family of Alfonso W. Pescatore, who recently passed away. He proposed the ceremony at Morris View.

Bugs BunnyThe Morristown & Township Library continues its Golden Age of Cartoons film series at 6:45 pm with a look at Warner Brothers and MGM, hosted by Tim Lynch. Free. Doors open at 6:15 pm; light refreshments. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

Steven Park, author of The Burning of the Gaspee, speaks at the 7:14 pm meeting of the North Jersey American Revolution Round Table, at the Washington’s Headquarters Museum Auditorium, 30 Washington Place, Morristown. Free.

FRIDAY, NOV. 11, VETERANS DAY:

The Morristown Women in Business present a networking breakfast, featuring Trish O’Keefe, R.N., president of Morristown Medical Center, at 8 am at the South & Pine American Eatery, 90 South St., Morristown. Tickets: $35 in advance, $40 at the door.

Morristown will mark Veterans Day with its annual service on the Morristown Green, at 11 am.

SATURDAY, NOV. 12:

Kelvin Boston’s Moneywise 2016 Empowerment Tour comes to the Hyatt Regency Morristown from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Presented by the Morristown Alumnae Fortitude Foundation, the tour will feature talks about careers, home ownership, entrepreneurship and more: Live entertainment, exhibitors, free lunch, and free parking. Admission: Free, but pre-registration is required.  At 3 Speedwell Ave.

The Morristown Farmers Market enters the home stretch for this season; open from 8:30 am to 2 pm, in Parking Lot 10, at Morris Street and Dumont Place.
