Stilt-walkers, jugglers and unicyclists will have their day in the sun–along with thousands of visitors–at the 22nd annual Morristown Festival of the Green, from noon to 5 pm on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016.

“We are expecting around 60,000 people to come through this year,” said Karen Carvelli from the Morristown Partnership, the downtown business organization that organizes the festival.

Some 150 exhibitors are lined up. Restaurants will sell their most popular offerings. There will be amusements for kids, a rock climbing wall, and entertainment on four stages.

Acts include the 26-piece Morris Plains Community Band, led by Larry Ripley, on the historic Morristown Green at noon; and the Heart of Gold Band, sponsored by the County College of Morris, at South and DeHart streets at 1 pm.

A list of performers is here.

Exhibitors include Sustainable Morristown, Covanta and the Morristown Environmental Commission; they’ll share a tent near Schuyler Place, where you can buy composting barrels and learn about conservation.

Admission is free, and so is parking, on the street and in the Ann/Bank, Dalton and DeHart street garages.
