Bucky Pizzarelli continues his remarkable recovery.

The 90-year-old jazz guitar great, who performed at last month’s Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival after being laid low by a “mini-stroke” last year, enjoyed Thursday’s Don Rickles/Regis Philbin Laughfest at the Mayo Performing Arts Center with his son, bass player Martin Pizzarelli.

Bucky, who has worked with everyone from Moses to McCartney, said he has accompanied Rickles and Philbin, too, during his illustrious career.

That career will be honored on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, with a Lifetime Achievement Award from Hot House NYC, at the Metropolitan Room in New York.
