Below are some anticipated highlights for the summer’s final installment  Meet Me in Morristown,

This concludes the third season of the sidewalk fair, organized by Morris Arts and the Morristown Partnership.

Here’s a preview from Morris Arts:
The Morristown Green: 

  • Maribyrd – a singer/songwriter born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Northern NJ. She performs as a solo artist and with bands and will have an excellent lineup of collaborations with local singer/songwriters. You won’t want to miss this event on The Green!

North Park Place

  • Scott & The Tiny Instruments – songs inspired, based on or part of other works/mediums of art including: film, painting, poetry, literature.
  • Ida Leigh Watson – Americana / Indie Folk Rock / Singer-Songwriter.

Church of the Redeemer

  • The Craft Band – incorporates Acoustic/Alternative instrumentation with rock dynamics and improvisation that is a fusion of elements of funk, jazz, blues, hip-hop and reggae.

South Street

  • Morris Tech Jazz Devils – jazz, pop and alternative music
  • Morris Music Men – treating Northern New Jersey audiences to the uniquely American form of vocal music known as barbershop harmony since the late 1950s. They are a chapter of the 26,000-member Barbershop Harmony Society, the world’s largest men’s a cappella singing society.
  • Orion Photography – come and get your Polaroid picture taken!

Morristown & Morris Township Library

  • Gefyra Drum Circle with Carol Pena – You are invited to drum and dance with the drum circle to build rhythms, celebrate life, play and dance! Family friendly drum circle near “The Alliance” statue at the center of the main lawn on the Morristown Green. ​

Some 55 visual artists will be selling hand-crafted goods including: Photography, painting, sculpture, wearable floral jewelry and accessories, pillows, clothing, home goods, jewelry, bowties and more.
