Morris Township police advise that a portion of Sussex Avenue will be closed on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016:
Sussex Avenue in Morris Township will be closed to all traffic on TUESDAY 8/9/2016, between 9 am-4 pm. The closure will be between LAKE VALLEY Road and LAKE Road (in Morristown).
This closure will be done only if weather permits. Detours will be in place (see below). For access to Sussex Avenue School, Woodlawn Drive, Egbert Avenue and Glen Airlie Court, please come from the east (Lake Road side).
For access to Sussex Place, please come from the west (Lake Valley Road side). MTPD Officers will be on Sussex Avenue to assist motorists.
