Join the Morristown Women in Business  for a luncheon and networking event on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the Hyatt Morristown Headquarters Plaza,  from noon to 2 pm.

Vanessa Smiley, the chief of interpretation and education at the Morristown National Historical Park, will be speaking on Memes & Marketing: Using Humor & Popular Culture in Marketing.

She will be talk about how she uses humor on social media to get people learning about and visiting the park.

Join us for this luncheon and learn how lightening up your social media persona can help your business grow! Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.

Vanessa Smiley is the Chief of Interpretation and Education at Morristown National Historical Park. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation and a Masters of Science in Resource Interpretation.  Vanessa has strong background and experience in partnership outreach and program development; interpretative media design; social media, and volunteer management and coordination. With 10 years of National Park Service experience under her belt, Vanessa has worked in a number of parks including Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park, and the George Washington Memorial Parkway sites of Clara Barton National Historic Site, Great Falls Park, and Glen Echo Park.
