Morristown’s 70 South Gallery has lots of visual treats. And now, it will cater to visitors’ ears as well.
Jazz singer Kelsey Jillette and her band will kick off a Last Friday @TheGallery series with a BYOB concert on Friday, June 24, 2016, at 7 pm.
“The gallery is a one-of-a-kind space where art and other activities will blend together. We envision a space where the community can come together and enjoy a variety of great events in a spectacular setting,” said Gallery Director Ira L. Black.
The gallery also hosts photography classes, and rents its gallery space and studio for private events and photo shoots.
Jillette has performed at The Pierre Hotel, Gramercy Park Hotel, Del Posto, and the Waldorf Astoria, among other venues.
Friday’s $35 cover charge includes appetizers and dessert catered by South + Pine.
Black said he is planning entertainment events at the gallery for the final Friday of each month.
