Washington Street in Morristown will be closed to through traffic from 7 am to 5 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016, for wiring of new street lights.
Local traffic for businesses and homes will be allowed by officers on the scene. (You will be able to access a safe biking course at Whole Foods.)

Detours:
Westbound traffic: Turn right onto Atno Avenue at the traffic light, turn left onto Early Street, turn left onto Mills Street, and turn right onto Washington, completing the detour.
Eastbound Traffic: Turn right onto Budd Street, turn left onto Miller Street, turn left onto Phoenix Avenue, and turn right onto Washington, completing the detour.
NOTE: Local traffic for businesses and residences will be allowed within the closed portion of Washington or be directed to their desired destination by Traffic Control Officers stationed at each end of the closure. Complete road closure will be instituted at the actual work location, however all properties will be accessible. The road will be open at the end of the day. In the event of heavy rain or scheduling conflict, the work will occur on the next viable Saturday.
