You learn something new every day at the Morristown & Township Library.

Last Friday, for example, patrons discovered the superhero Iron Bladder. They also were introduced to Numbles, a frog-catching game– or a former NFL star, depending on your point of view. And they heard a variety of dinner calls for werewolves.

This intellectual smorgasbord was courtesy of Dr. Gameshow,  an audience-participation program usually found on WFMU-FM.

Host Jo Firestone and her sidekick, the monosyllabic Manolo, took their show on the road, to the delight of a Morristown audience that competed for refrigerator magnets, in games invented by listeners who see their cups as half-cracked.

It’s hard to explain.  Hear for yourself tonight, Monday, May 16, 2016, at 6 pm on WFMU, 91.1 FM, or on the station’s website.
