The Morristown CraftMarket, one of the country’s top juried arts-and-crafts shows, will celebrate its 40th anniversary this fall. If you think your creations measure up, now’s the time to seek an invitation to the party.
Artists have until May 1, 2016, to submit an application for a space at the show.
Some 160 artists and craftsmen from 25 states will sell their original works in jewelry, ceramics, glass, wearable fiber, wood, metal, leather and more. The show runs from Friday, Oct. 14, through Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at the National Guard Armory, at 430 Western Ave., Morris Township.
Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded in several categories.
“The Morristown CraftMarket is a nationally acclaimed fine art and craft show that showcases top juried fine arts and crafts in all contemporary media, and raises thousands of dollars for charities in our community,” Geoff Price, show director, said in a statement.
The show is sponsored by the nonprofit Kiwanis Club of Randolph, NJ. Call 973-442-2840 or visit the show website for more details.
