A Winter’s Day On the Farm had cooking demos and all sorts of other interesting activities.

But the stars of Sunday’s show at the Fosterfields Living Historical Farm — dare we say “studs”?– were Calvin & Hobbes, and Major & King.

That’s nearly four tons of equine charisma. Calvin and Hobbes, a pair of Belgian draft horses, are nearing retirement.  Major and King are their successors. And these Percherons looked right at home in Morris Township.

Our thanks to MorristownGreen.com contributor Jeff Sovelove for documenting the historic occasion.
