The Morristown & Township Library’s Just Out of the Box series of newly released DVDs features The Walk (2015), the story of high-wire artist Philippe Petit’s audacious 1974 walk between the Twin Towers. Screenings at 2 pm and 7 pm. Admission: Free. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

FRIDAY, JAN. 22:

Beppe Gambetta, an Italian bluegrass flatpicking champion (we’re not making this up), headlines at The Minstrel in Morris Township at 8 pm. We love this guy! He’s a stellar musician…with a charming sense of humor to match. His opener, Shun Ng, promises more guitar surprises. Admission: $9, children 12 and under, free. At the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Road.

CANCELED BECAUSE OF STORM.Learn all about the art of maple sugaring, 2 pm at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham. Admission is $3 per person, age 3 and up. The Tom Rush show at the Sanctuary has been rescheduled to March 12 because of this weekend’s snowy forecast.
Tom Rush, a singer-songwriter who inspired James Taylor, performs at the Sanctuary series in Chatham at 8 pm.  Matt Nakoa joins him on piano.  Opener Carolann Solebello  is beloved as a founding member of the great trio Red Molly. CANCELED BECAUSE OF STORM FORECAST: The Morris County Winter Farmers Market has a new home, Morristown’s Alexander Hamilton School, from 10 am to 2 pm every Sunday through April. Organized by the Foodshed Alliance and Sustainable Morristown, the market aims to present up to 25 vendors of locally grown produce. On Mills Street.

Johan Fernandez, a Certified Affordable Care Act Application Counselor, will provide free information and assistance with Affordable Health Care Act enrollment, between 1 pm and 4:45 pm at the Morristown & Township Library.
