Morristown police advise motorists to expect delays near downtown this morning, Sunday, Oct, 18, 2015, because of a road race.
The Superhero Half-Marathon starts at DeHart Street and will wind through Morris Township and Madison, ending on Dwyer Lane in the Township.
“Traffic congestion, detours and road closures should be expected along the route during the race,” police advise.
Affected roadways in Morristown are Maple, Macculloch and Mount Kemble avenues; James Street, South Street at James; Franklin Street; and Ford and Morris avenues. (A course map is here.)
Runners should be clear of these areas by 10:30 am.
