It’s shaping up as a perfect weekend to curl up with a good book. Better yet, why not curl up with about 25 good books–and their authors?
The second annual Morristown Festival of Books is here, the indoor venues are cozy and dry, and the roster promises stimulating conversation for every age and taste.
The literary feast starts today, Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, at 7:30 pm in the Mayo Performing Arts Center, with a keynote by the Pulitzer Prize winning husband-and-wife team of Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, authors of A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunities.
Tickets are $35 adult / $12 student. All adult tickets will include a signed copy of the couple’s book.
On Saturday, Oct. 3, more than two dozen authors will give free talks from 10 am to 5 pm at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, the Morristown & Township Library and the Starlight Room of the Mayo Center.

New York Times Wine Critic Eric Asimov will host a wine talk and tasting at 5 pm. Admission is $20, and includes wine tasting.
