You can dispose of expired or unused prescription drugs, controlled substances and over-the-counter medications in an environmentally safe way on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, in Morris Plains, Randolph and Mountain Lakes.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and police in those towns are participating in the 10th annual Operation Take Back Day.
From 10 am to 2 pm, citizens can hand over their medications without releasing any personal information, according to the Prosecutor’s Office. Law enforcement then will dispose of the drugs properly, according to a statement from the Prosecutor.
