For the second week, a threat of thunderstorms has canceled a free concert in Morris Township. The June 30, 2015, show by country swing band Novo Rodeo will be rescheduled for a later date, according to Township Recreation Director Bill Foelsch.
The Moonlighters will try to break the jinx on July 7 at Ginty Field with a program of swing music.
Here is the remaining concert schedule:
- Tuesday, July 7: Moonlighters Swing Band
- Tuesday, July 14: Hanover Wind Symphony
- Tuesday, July 21: RB Express
- Tuesday, July 28: The Family Tradition Band
- Tuesday, Aug. 4: Heart of Gold Band
And here is the Township’s free outdoor film schedule. Music and games start at Ginty at 7:30 pm, with movies following at dusk:
