Classes in the Morris School District have been canceled for March 5, 2015, because of the wintry forecast. PARCC testing will resume on Friday.
Morris County government offices have a delayed opening, at 10 am, for all “non-essential” employees.
Gov. Christie declared a state of emergency on Wednesday in advance of this storm. State offices are scheduled to open at 11 am.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Greater Morristown through 7 pm. The National Weather Service now predicts three- to five inches of snow for our area, with temperatures falling through the 20s and winds gusting to 20 mph.
