Gov. Christie declares state of emergency; delayed opening for state offices, March 5

State offices will delay opening until 11 am on March 5, 2015, because of the predicted snowfall, according to the state Office of Emergency Management.

A winter weather advisory is in effect through 7 pm for Morristown, where two- to six inches of snow could fall as the temperature dips through the 20s, possibly into the teens, by nightfall. Gusts of 20 mph are possible.

NJ Transit is cross-honoring tickets on rail, light rail and buses. And the Morristown Parking Authority is offering free garage parking to town residents through 9 am on Friday, March 6, 2015.
