With a more yet another winter weather advisory in the forecast, the Morristown Parking Authority again is offering free garage parking to town residents, from 3 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, through 9 am on Friday, March 6, according to Mayor Tim Dougherty’s office.

Participating garages are:

  • DALTON PARKING GARAGE (CATTANO AVENUE)
  • ANN/BANK PARKING GARAGE
  • DEHART GARAGE
  • VAIL PARKING DECK (ACCESS FROM SOUTH STREET)

(For a handy, detailed map, click to enlarge the Morristown Parking Authority advertisement on the right side of this page.)

As always, your driver’s license will provide proof of residency, to waive parking fees. If you leave after 9 am on Monday, fees may be charged.

The National Weather Service predicts snow on Tuesday afternoon, changing to sleet and freezing rain in the evening, and then all rain overnight. Icing could make travel hazardous.

Rain on Wednesday is expected to become snow overnight into Thursday, with accumulations of two- to four inches.
