UPDATE!!! BECAUSE OF BAD WEATHER, THIS MEETING HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 15, 2015!
Downton Abbey’s fifth season ended Sunday on an upbeat note, which can mean only one thing:
Trouble!
Now fans are left to twist in the wind for nearly another year while series creator Julian Fellowes hatches his next set of diabolical plot twists.
And pity the characters, frozen in place until January 2016.
Poor Anna and Bates, left in limbo. Branson and little Sibby, straddling the gangplank to Boston. Rose and Atticus, setting sail for New York. Edith and Mary, girding for the catfight of the century. Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes, no spring chickens, stuck in a matrimonial holding pattern. And on and on.
At least Rose (Lily James) gets to be Cinderella for awhile.

In any case, the Morristown & Township Library feels the pain of D.A. fans suffering acute withdrawal symptoms. And so it will reconvene the Downton Abbey Support Group at 7 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
Tea and scones will be served, and period costumes are encouraged, though not required.
Disclaimer: This support group is offered for educational purposes only. Anyone suffering prolonged insomnia, depression, dyspepsia or an erection lasting more than four hours should seek help from a qualified medical professional.
