“I encourage all New Jerseyans to use every caution as they travel today and to remain off the roads whenever possible so that our first responders and public safety officials can safely respond to any emergency situations,”  the Governor said.

All non-essential state employees will be staying home on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, he said.

A winter storm warning from the National Weather Service remains in effect through 6 pm on Tuesday, with 10-18 inches of snow predicted for Greater Morristown and blizzard conditions anticipated in some parts of the state.

The heaviest snowfall is expected during Monday’s overnight. Winds may gust to 35 mph, according to the forecast on Monday afternoon.
