Maybe going deaf wasn’t the worst thing in the world, Ludwig.

Okay, so The Minstrel’s Bob McNally took a few liberties with your majestic Ode to Joy on Friday.

But it was all in good fun … and the concert raised $2,400 for renovations at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship.

The evening of homespun holiday music also included Meta Christmas, an original ditty by the Folk Project’s Dave Kleiner, sung by his wife, Liz Pagan.  That video is here, too, for your Yuletide amusement.

On Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, The Minstrel in Morris Township features  Christine Lavin and Don White. Showtime is 8 pm, admission is $9 (12 and under, free), at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Road.
