Your eyes did not deceive you on Saturday in Morristown.

If you bellied up to the bar — any bar– and saw multiple Santas, it wasn’t your beverage talking.  It was SantaCon, the ninth annual holiday pub crawl in town.

Everybody appeared to have a cheery time, with the possible exception of two revelers cited for public urination and a third charged with disorderly conduct.

Folks were seeing in red in Morris Township, too, at the second annual SuperSanta 5K at Ginty Field. Race co-organizer Chris Russo said about 500 runners participated in the morning event, a costumed affair that raised money for the township fire department and the American Red Cross.

Michael Fonderr, 28, of Princeton, was the top male finisher, with a time of 16:02:11. Elizabeth Campbell, 24, of Norwalk, CT., led the ladies with an 18:15:26 time. Sabrina Oei, 39, of Morristown, finished third in the women’s division. Complete results are here.
