Christmas Singers 2010Music At Noon, the concert series sponsored by Music At Morristown United Methodist Church, continues its 35th season with a concert on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, featuring The Christmas Singers.

The quartet is comprised of June Van Thoen, soprano; Patricia Ruggles, mezzo-soprano; Darren O’Neill, tenor; and Wayne Walters, nass.  Pianist Anita Gordon is the accompanist.

The concert is freeas a gift to the community. It will be held in the church sanctuary, 50 Park Place (on the Green).  A light luncheon is available for purchase before or after the concert (11:30 am to 1:30 pm).  The cost of the luncheon is $8 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.  Free childcare is available during the concert.  The sanctuary is handicapped accessible.  For further information: www.morristownumc.com or 973-538-2132.

The Christmas Singers, comprised of professional musicians from the metropolitan area, are appearing for the 27th consecutive year on this series.  This concert has the highest attendance of each season.

This year’s program will include such favorites as “God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen,”  “Mary, Did You Know,” “Tell It On the Mountain,” “Jingle Bells,” and the ever-popular “Twelve Days After Christmas.”
