To clear streets for snowplowing during the upcoming storm, Morristown residents can park free in four garages run by the Morristown Parking Authority, Mayor Tim Dougherty announced on Tuesday.

The free period starts at 6 o’clock tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, and extends to 9 am on Friday, Nov. 28.

Participating locations:

  • Dalton Parking Garage (Cattano Avenue)
  • Ann/Bank Street Parking Garage
  • DeHart Street Garage
  • Vail Parking Deck (access from South Street)

When exiting, residents should show their driver’s licenses as proof of Morristown residency to have parking fees waived. Vehicles that stay beyond 9 am on Friday will be subject to parking fees, the Mayor’s office said.
