CLEAR THE FLIGHT PATH! Those folks in the space station need their Tang shipment!

Well, it went down to the wire… but the launch of the Antares rocket,  meant to lob supplies to the International Space Station, was scrubbed within a whisker of liftoff on Monday night.

According to the chatter from NASA, streamed live online, a boat was on the water beneath the projected flight path.

Rescheduled launch: 6:22 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, according to NASA.

We also looked for the space station–scheduled to transit Morristown’s sky around the same time on Monday evening–but came up empty there, too.

Presumably, it’s still up there, somewhere.  You can plot its next pass here.
