A rallying cry for full-figured women: Rachel Wiley at the Dodge Poetry Festival

Rachel Wiley  takes on the fashion industry, and America’s conventional views of “beauty,” in her poem Gorgon,  recited at the Dodge Poetry Festival.

The festival, sponsored by the Morristown-based Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, runs through Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, in Newark’s Downtown Arts District.

Wiley is the author of Fat Girl Finishing School.  The poet and activist hails from Columbus, Ohio.
